Comments:

An early attempt to bring us all the of available BBC material for the first time on CD , unfortunately like the Original Vinyl series, this was halted before at volume 9 prior to completion by the authorities . Whether the final lower quality editions finalizing the set are from the same supplier is disputed by some.

With the numerous variations of this series, even after almost two decades many myths and errors remain, with publications and web sites incorrectly reporting the catalogue numbers , formats ,and track listings and even title. The first nine volumes are clearly Radio Active Volumes 1-9 . Additionally many the good old spell checkers correct 'Beeb' to 'Beep' in many sources where they identify the title as The Beatles At The Beeb Vol.

Primarily I have tried to report details of the variations available. Once I have completed this and have managed to borrow a set of original vinyl Beatles At The Beeb or good copies I will spend a little more time on the track listings along with details of the small bits excluded from this set.

The current 'Core' source for the BBC material is a 2004 Internet based series The Complete BBC Sessions Upgraded for 2004 on Purple Chick where all the best sources and new material have been collated.

In 2011 the Remasters Workshop label issued it's Remastered Edition of this classic release.

Bonus Insert with some copies

The Original European Pressings Were WITHOUT any bonus insert despite the comments in the 910 xxxx guide .

Additionally there are two versions , one is of these is laminated card the other paper.

The size of the cover image varies slightly between the paper and card versions and the cropping sizing is of a low quality with many images not being horizontal. I have even seen one with crop marks showing.
