Alf Bicknell's 'Garage Tapes' available at last in one place and in better quality , but still not for the faint hearted .
The Garage Tapes from Kremo Music Productions and Orange's Maybe You Can Drive My Car no longer hold core status and as the source for this title is Gerry Marsh dubs from an off line source, 'maybe' the tape source will be released before too long.
As for Vigotone/ Spank titles of this period , a factory pressed CD for the Japanese market and Printed CDR's for the rest of the world , but NOT Mistsui discs, these were replaced with SKC Silver Cdr's
The Japanese pressing has exactly the same material but has been mastered differently with only 43 tracks with tracks 9 - 44 being one out. Track 9 'Tape Noise' has not been allocated it's own cue on the Japanese release.
There is a European factory pressed fake, maybe one other and the usual CDR' s commercial and hone made. More interestingly is the 2003 half genuine release in Japan. This consists of recreated artwork , albeit slightly different, see below and an original factory pressed disc.
