Comments:

A core release still after over a decade and whilst still full of great reference material not an easy listening disc.

There are four factory pressed CD variations all using the same mastering , with slight variations to the disc art. This appears to be common from the Australian pressing plane and may or may not give some indication of deferent press runs. Their is a minor variation in the timings and disc ID of a Mitsui CDR issue but I have not been able to trace and change in audio quality.

As with so many Vigotone titles it has been copied. This time in an attempt to avoid 'Fuzzy' artwork the rear artwork has been recreated leading to variations. See Images Below. Additionally since the closure of Vigotone 2001 many CDR fakes have appeared , some better than others . I have included one CDR FAKE in the images below as this version regularly appears.

The Red Robin label issued their own version/ Re-make but can easily be identified by the RED label CD and addition of their logo to the artwork.

I have seen this variation appear a few times , as the disc is neither a Mitsui or SKC brand disc I have assumed it to be a fake.

Clearly different side by side, with different fonts and sizes but more difficult if you own or are thinking of buying one. So I have picked out the odd key feature to assist, but the disc haas to be the main clue.

With a larger font on the Fake the layout of the title descriptions has altered.

Track 6-8 originals is on three lines but four on the FAKE

Track 13 similarly has increased from two to three lines.

The central Revolution artwork is also very dark and slightly fuzzy. At this stage the quickest way to identify a fake is the copyright statement around the circumference of the disc art and no Beatles images.
