Hot on the heels of Cold Cuts comes this next installment from the McCartney archives. Originating from one of Wings final rehearsal sessions in 1980, this collection of nearly 2 1/2 hours of stereo soundboard recordings is presented in the premium fashion you've come to expect from Vigotone.

Comments:

Unlike some release of the late 1990's what we have is not one or two updated tracks padded out but two complete discs full of totally new rehearsal material. Only Cut As Across Shorty , Disc 1 -track 12, was previously available in part on Vigotone's 1994 release Good Time Comin' .

According to the indispensable guide , 8 Arms to Hold You , a short rendition of "The Sheik of Araby also circulates but I have yet been able to trace a source,or to determine if this tape is either the same or better quality than this excellent Vigotone release.

Not surprisingly these discs were copied by another label and released as a FAKE , however , it is very easy to spot with alternate artwork and Picture CD factory pressed discs . I must admit it would have been nice to see one of title received a factory pressed slip case fake lie some of the 1999 releases , but that was not to be.
