Vigotone's first Paul McCartney release is a copy of the live Broadcast of the 'Silver Clef Award Winners Knebworth Show' from a field,Park, in Knebworth , Hertfordshire on the 30th June 1990.

I have not been able to compare this broadcast with the Goblin Records release, The Knebworth Concert so I can not clarify whether any work has been done to tidy up the original Goblin release, probably not as the track timings seem to match, all tracks that are longer are where the length is greater than 0.50 and I have rounded up the timing.

The 910 guide of the time suggests that Goblin and Vigotone are related, and their latter Solo guide that this is a core release , however Chip Madinger and Mark Easter's invaluable Guide Eight Arms To Hold You places core status on the Goblin Records release. Confused , you should be as there are better sources available without the drop outs, but if yo are looking for a factory pressed disc the Goblin was the original but the Vigotone has the collectable edge. The Choice as ever is yours.

The following four tracks Coming Up , Birthday Hey Jude and Can't Buy Me Love were remixed and received commercial release , a latter surround mix was created for a DVD compilation of the show.
