Comments:

An excellent first Beeb release from the team that was to become Yellow Dog and what a release five shows, 17 new and 2 upgraded tracks. The importance of the release can not be under estimated.

Not surprisingly these were copied by other labels and hopefully as my research continues I will hopefully be able to provide more information. Contemporary reports referred to the lower quality production of the European originals but that the original US release having truncated tracks. I have not located any reviews of the US reissues or the 2LP versions.

Whilst the Beeb track appeared within a few years on CD the LP's remained core material for intros that were not transferred.

The European cover art and general layout were used by the 'student' behind The Beatles at The Beeb being one of the first three Beatles Bootleg CD's along with several tracks.
