As with the other Strawberry Fields Forever, Deccagone, releases there is general confusion as to what an original looks like. There are at least five coloured and a black vinyl release. Large and small spindle holes and three sleeve variations and probably different masters/stampers.

Sources advise that the release was first made available at the Summer 1976 Boston Beatles convention and after that through the SFF Fanzine.

Whilst the Hot Wax publication identifies five colours, there is no mention of which colours relate to the original.
