A label of quality which evolved from numerous nondescript
labels. All of these early titles were reissued on TMOQ.
One of it's creators said that once TMOQ was thought of there was no other label.
For decades there has been and remains to be considerable confusion over what has to be the most famous of labels. The primary problem is not just the evolution of a label but also the split of the cofounders, with both parties releasing their own releases using the same pressing plants and printers.

TMOQ2 (1973-87?)

An alternate label which originally used TMOQ masters to have
their own products pressed, prior to releasing their own 'new' titles.
There are several sister labels many of which were issued with TMOQ2 labels.
Their quality control was not as good as
original TMOQ releases and some have dubbed this label as The Trade Mark of
Quantity.
In 1987 they also released TMOQ titles using the original logo pressed from the original masters.

A sister label to TMOQ2 which specialized in reissuing dozens of titles from several labels. The Stock Covers track listing pasted to the rear and Some copies had a TMOQ pig sticker and a record label with a 'Whole' pig others plain labels. |
